"I had to cancel my booking, the whole..."
I had to cancel my booking, the whole refund process just wore me down. I was already bummed about canceling, but not knowing what was happening made it even more frustrating. I kept feeling like I had to chase updates just to get a clear answer.
I understand there are policies and timelines, but the way it was handled didn’t feel very supportive. It took longer than I expected, and by the end I was irritated and left with a sour feeling about the experience

"Not as close as we thought"
The place itself was okay, but the location really threw off our plans. We booked it thinking the beach would be easy to get to, but it ended up being a much longer walk than expected, especially hauling chairs, towels, and bags. A lot of the attractions were farther away too, so instead of relaxing and walking around like we planned, we spent way more time driving. For the price, it was disappointing.

"Pretty nice overall, just unclear on fees"
Booking was smooth for the most part, and the place itself was fine. I just wasn’t a huge fan of seeing the price change once all the extra fees got added in. I feel like the total could’ve been clearer earlier, especially when you’re trying to compare a few options. Not a bad experience or anything, just kind of annoying.

"Housekeeping was just okay"
Not gonna lie, our stay with Southern Resorts was mostly fine overall, but the housekeeping wasn’t quite what I expected. The floors still had some sand on them when we arrived, and we noticed a few dusty spots around the bedroom.
They did bring us extra towels when we asked, which I appreciated. It wasn’t a bad stay by any means, but the cleaning just felt a little rushed.

"Good location, but keep parking in mind"
We stayed at one of their places near the beach, and the location was the best part. It was super easy to walk to restaurants, shops, and the water, which made the trip really convenient. That said, just a heads up for anyone driving: the parking is tight, so be prepared for that. Other than that, we had a good stay overall

I thought their communication was good overall. They got back to me quickly and kept me in the loop along the way. I only had to check in once myself, which felt reasonable and not like I was being ignored

"Maintenance showed up fast, at least"
Maintenance came by quickly and fixed the sink without making a big deal out of it. i kind of wish it had been handled before it got annoying, but I’m glad it was taken care of fast.

"Pictures didn’t really line up"
I don’t know, maybe the photos were taken a while ago or just from really good angles, but the condo didn’t feel like what was shown in the listing. It wasn’t totally awful or anything, just not what I thought I was booking, so it kind of threw me off

"Got sorted out, just took some time"
i mean, we had an issue with the rental right when we checked in, and it was frustrating at first. I had to call a couple of times before I felt like I was getting a clear answer from someone.
To their credit, they did get it fixed later that day, which I appreciated. It wasn’t the smoothest start, but in the end, everything turned out okay.

"Easy Check-In, Messy Check-Out"
Check-in was fine and went smoothly. Check-out was where things got annoying. The instructions were unclear, and there were a lot of vague promises like someone would “be right with us” or it would be “quick,” but it still took longer than expected. The staff did help eventually, but I really wish they had been more direct about what to do and how long it would take...

I had a question about our booking and they answered me faster than I was expecting, which was nice. The reply made sense and it wasn’t all complicated or anything. I just needed a straight answer and they did that, so yeah, I appreciated the help a lot.

"Clean enough, but could’ve been better"
We stayed at a Southern Resorts condo for a few nights, and overall it was really okay. The beds and bathrooms looked clean, and the kitchen was usable, so it wasn’t like we felt uncomfortable or anything.
That said, there was still some dust on the shelves, sand on the floor, and a few spots in the shower that really could’ve used more scrubbing. Not terrible, but for the price, I expected it to be a bit cleaner. I’d say 3 stars feels fair.

"Solid deal for our family beach trip"
As the person in my family who always compares prices before booking anything, I felt good about what we got through southernresorts.com. The condo was clean, close to the beach, and ended up being cheaper than a few other places I had checked. It wasn’t super fancy or anything, but for a family trip, it had what we needed and felt worth the money. I’d book with them again.
